Due to the construction, there are changes this week to the traffic flow on Mound Avenue and in the school parking lot. Mound Ave is now a one-way street south (Marquette to 6th Street). The map below displays the new traffic flow. Please take your time with drop off and pick-up this week due to the changes in the traffic flow. All vehicles should only enter the lot using the indicated - Entrance– lane (closest to the school). This also applies for exiting the lot by utilizing the farthest Exit (Fence) lane.
Here are a few reminders:
• Mound Avenue is a one-way street moving from Marquette to 6th Street.
• The parking lot entrance is now the lane closest to the school.
• The middle lane is closed for entrance or exit (parking only).
• Mound is not a pass through street anymore, you have to turn into the parking lot.
• The parking lot exit is the furthest (Fence) lane.
• No parking on Mound Ave until further notice.
• You can drop off students on Mound and have them walk to the school entrance, and continue with the traffic flow.
• Lastly, please watch for students entering and exiting cars before driving off.
• Please drive no faster than 5-10 MPH.
• It is imperative that we continue to work together to remain calm and respectful when traveling through the parking lot. We are the models for our students.
