Open Board Seat

The Almont Community Schools District is seeking applications for the current vacant position on the board of education. An individual will be appointed to fill the vacant position through December 31, 2024 and will be replaced by the individual elected to the position (based upon the November 5th, 2024 election results) on January 1st, 2025.

Interested persons must submit a letter expressing interest in the board position and their qualifications for the position to the district office no later than 12:00pm on June 5th, 2024.

Following a review of the submitted materials, the board of education will schedule interviews with the selected candidates by 9:00am June 6th, 2024 with the interviews to take place the evening of June 6th, 2024. Not all candidates for the board vacancy will be interviewed.
