MenusA complete breakfast and lunch is available at every West Irondequoit school every day. We are pleased to announce that all students enrolled in West Irondequoit Schools will be able to receive FREE breakfast and lunch at school starting 12/1/23. If you were planning on filling out a free and reduced application, you should still do so, as it will carry over for the first month and a half of the 24-25 School Year!! Milk may be purchased separately from lunch. Milk is included with the free meal, but if a student purchases JUST milk, there is a $.60 charge. A La Carte items will be available for the 23-24 school year at the High School, Dake, Rogers and Iroquois. Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. All meals, foods and beverages are prepared and served by qualified child nutrition professionals. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students. PLEASE SEE OUR MEAL SHAMING PROHIBITION PLAN BELOW UNDER "FOOD SERVICE INFORMATION." Breakfast is open to all students in the district. If your child has a hard time getting up in the morning but you still want him/her to eat, consider having them eat at school before they start their day of studies! The menu will always specify the type of meat in the entree, ie: pork, beef, chicken. Once again, we will not be offering change at the cash registers. You can pay for your student's milk or a la carte items using MySchoolBucks, or cash and check can be given to the cashier, and this money will be put on your student's account.
