Breegan Lindsey, Makenna Perkins, Addy Schreck, and Hadley Bell brought our events to a close today with a great performance in the shuttle hurdle relay that earned them a 7th place medal. They came into the state meet with the 13th best time and walked out with 7th place. Congratulations!

State Track Update:
Soiyer Smith, Abigail Leahy, Addy Schreck, and Breegan Lindsey had another record breaking morning with their performances in the 4×200 and 4×100.
4×200: 1:46.47 for a new school record and 6th place finish to earn a medal.
4×100: 50.52 for a new school record and 10th place finish missing out on the finals by .07.
Tariq Miller competed in the discus and threw 143-11 finishing 15th.
Congratulations to all the CD athletes on outstanding performances today!

Decatur County Public Health offers the Pick a Better Snack program to Central Decatur elementary students. Each month, a fruit or veggie is featured, and students have the opportunity to learn more about it and participate in fun activities. For our last meeting of the year, Peg brought the Blender Bike.
