All households should complete a free/reduced meal application before the start of school to insure their child(ren)’s meal charges accurately reflect their eligibility. While those households receiving SNAP or TANF benefits are eligible for free meals, unless we have been notified by the State that they are certified for free meals, they will be charged as paid until we receive and process a new application. Unless you have received a letter from us informing you your child is Direct Certified and automatically receives free meals, please assume they are not and submit a new application for the 2023/2024 school year.
