Connetquot’s newly formed Food Service & Nutrition Committee will host its first meeting on Thursday, June 6 at 6pm -7:30pm. All are invited to join in to discuss the tentative agenda items below. Tentative Agenda: 1) Discuss the purpose of the Food Service / Nutrition Committee. 2) Review and discuss the Federal National Lunch program and the NYS Education Dept. Office of Child Nutrition. 3) Review and discuss federal breakfast and lunch meal nutritional guidelines and regulations. 4) Review and discuss our Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) breakfast and lunch program. 5) Review and discuss our breakfast and lunch menu options. 6) Review our snack (a la carte) menu options. 7) Review and discuss our food service operations by school building. 8) Review and discuss our current Food Service Management Company (FSMC) contract with Aramark. 9) Discuss our intention to renew the current FSMC contract for the one year (2024/25 school year). 10) Address questions, comments, concerns, and suggestions.
