Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan and City of Albany Department of Recreation Commissioner Jonathan Jones have announced the opening of the City’s spray pads beginning today, Wednesday, May 22, at 2:00 p.m., seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the following locations:
• Black Lives Matter Park
• Lincoln Park
• North Swan St. Park
• Ridgefield Park
• Rosemont Park
• Sheridan Park
• Westland Hills Park
The Department of Recreation is actively completing beginning-of-the-year maintenance on the spray pads at Swinburne Park, Krank Park, and Hackett Park, and they are currently closed.
The City of Albany will announce anticipated opening dates for the spray pads at Swinburne Park, Krank Park, and Hackett Park in the coming days.
The City of Albany anticipates announcing the opening of its pools in the coming weeks.

Hello HJCS Families. We are celebrating our annual International Night on Friday, May 17th from 6:00-7:30pm. Families and community members are invited to bring a family/ethnic/regional dish to share while we celebrate our different cultures with food, music, and performances by scholars. Please look at the flyer for details and let us know if you plan to bring a dish, just come eat, or plan to attend for your scholar’s performance. We look forward to seeing you there!
