HDC Students Are Winners in the Poppy Poster Contest

Twenty Howells-Dodge Seniors Graduated on May 11

           The Commencement Ceremony for the Howells-Dodge Class of 2024 was held on Saturday, May 11 at 4:30 p.m. at the school gym in Howells.  The processional, "Pomp and Circumstance" was played by Wayne Molacek as the seniors walked to the stage.  A welcome was given by Connor Kreikemeier, class vice president.  Principal Jordan Brabec introduced the Salutatorian, Landon . . .

FCCLA Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup Was May 13

     Members of the Howells-Dodge FCCLA Chapter picked up litter for their Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup on Monday, May 13 at 5:30 p.m.  Trash was collected along the 2 miles south of the Highways 15/91 Junction.  This project was done as part of the Great American Cleanup for Keep Nebraska Beautiful and the FCCLA Community Service Project. . . .

Howells Community Fund Presents Mailboxes to 2024 Seniors

Laura Mejstrik and Austin Coufal of the Howells Community Fund presented mailboxes to each of the Howells-Dodge Senior Class students on May 10, 2024.  The mailboxes could be used for cards for graduation, as a momento, or as a mailbox for a future home.  The Howells Community Fund members congratulated the senior class of 2024 on their successes and encouraged them to remember their roots and they go on to the next . . .
