Interested in Being a School Board Member?
Mr. Chris Soyke has served as an MDIH board member since April 2013 and we sincerely appreciate his service to our students, schools, and district. Mr. Soyke recently notified the board of his intent to resign from the school board. For this reason, we are soliciting letters of interest from those who would like to serve the remainder of Mr. Soyke’s three-year term which ends April 28, 2025. If you would like to serve in this capacity, please submit a letter expressing your qualifications and interest by May 31. This letter can be mailed to the district office at 8377 N. Port Washington Road, Fox Point 53217; or you can drop it off at Maple Dale, attn: District Office.
A school board member must be an eligible elector of the school district. Other board member qualifications include a passion for quality education and the ability to attend two evening meetings a month. As any good school would do, we will train you in the rest!
