Menus
The Kings Local School District participates in the National School Program, offering breakfast and lunch service daily. The types of meals provided within the school meal program encompass standards as defined by the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. All menus are planned following standards of the National School Lunch Program as governed by the United States Department of Agriculture.
Menus can be viewed below. The menus will display ur daily offerings, and upon viewing each menu offering it will provide the nutrient, allergens and ingredients contained in each menu items.
It is recommended that funds be placed in the account in advance. We will also collect funds the day of from the student as they visit the cafeteria for their meals. Our District discourages the charging of meals and ask that payment of meals are paid weekly. If assistance is needed parents/guardians are encouraged to apply for the free and reduced meal program. click here to apply
Students who were approved for the free and reduced meal program at the end of last year automatically (temporarily) qualify again this year (for the first 30 of school). However, a new application must be completed for the 2023-2024 school year within 30 days. If a new application is not completed and processed by September 27th, 2023, the previous year’s eligibility status is no longer valid. It is important that families complete thier free and reduced meal application in a timely manner to maintain thier eligibility status.
