Middle School of Plainville Honored With Anti-Defamation League No Place For Hate Designation

On Sunday, May 19th, amidst the cheers and excitement of the Hartford Yard Goats baseball game at Dunkin' Park, a special moment unfolded as the Middle School of Plainville was honored with the prestigious 2023-24 Anti-Defamation League No Place for Hate designation. Amidst the crack of baseball bats and the roar of the crowd for Middle School of Plainville seventh grader, Jahsir Torres, who threw out the first pitch of the game, representatives from the Middle School proudly paraded their banner around the field, showcasing their commitment to inclusivity and tolerance.

Superintendent’s Showcase and Informational Update

Students, families, faculty and staff members filled Plainville High School on April 23rd for the annual Superintendent's Update and Informational Showcase event, which included the award winning PHS Cheer team, performances by the PHS Chamber Choir, PHS Jazz Band and MSP 8th grader, Nolan Meehan, followed by an open house style showcase in the high school's cafeterias spotlighting student works, programs, initiatives, and more across the district. Refreshments were provided by the outstanding PCS Food Services Department!
