Deadline Extension! Get those applications in for the KC Blind All-Stars Foundation scholarships offering two opportunities for blind or visually impaired youth. The Gwendolyne Hawley Trust Scholarship Award Program helps deserving post-secondary students who are blind or visually impaired to advance their skills in post-secondary education. The Donald J. and Marcia Pickering Scholarship assist in expenses for technical education or skill-based training after graduation from high school or completion of the Transition Program at KSSB. Interested in TSVI/COMS?

The Kansas TSVI/COMS Preparation and Mentorship Project supports the training of educators to become TSVIs and/or COMSs.

KSSB offers several online classes with a certified content area teacher who is also a Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments.

KanLovKids, LVCC

Low vision collaboration clinics are a functional and multidisciplinary approach, meeting the visual needs of children from ages birth through 21 who reside in Kansas.
