If your Upper School student is interested in applying for student council for the 2024/25 school year, please encourage them to pick up an application from Ms. Kimbel. The application deadline has been extended to Friday, May 17th!

Thank you @Elizabeth Osborne for volunteering with 4th grade social studies this year! Mrs. Osborne loves taking students on field trips, especially when they are related to NC history. Over the past week and a half, they have been on two fabulous educational experiences at two local state historic sites: Duke Homestead State Historic Site and Alamance Battleground State Historic Site . Both the staff and volunteers were knowledgeable and had engaging activities for the students! They even squeezed in a ride on Amtrak from Durham to Burlington! We are extremely grateful that Mrs. Osborne has continued to be a part of the Hawbridge community!

Our first ever senior mural is in progress! The design is by senior Cory Taylor. Thank you to Ms. Daniel, our Upper School Visual Arts teacher, for organizing and leading this project. We are excited to see this project come to life and look forward to the beautification of the cement retaining wall outside the upper school over the coming years.

PASTA is planning their last meeting of the year for Wednesday, May 15 at 3:45pm at the Eddy in Saxapahaw. In order to finalize the meeting, they need to have a total number of people attending.
