Mission Statement - from Principal Larry Hazzard

The Mission of the Adelaide L. Sanford Charter School is to ensure that young people in Newark reach their highest educational potential through a standards based curriculum; a school culture of achievement and a continuous improvement; and a nurturing environment - all of which will enable our students to become Newark's future leaders and core professionals. We will achieve our mission by ensuring a working partnership with parents, students and members of our community.

 Vision Statement

The administration, staff, and community of Adelaide L. Sanford Charter School believe that all children can learn if motivated and taught.  We accept the responsibility of providing an atmosphere whereby each student will be able to acquire the knowledge and social skills necessary to participate independently in a democratic society. We will remain persistent in building student self-esteem while fostering academic achievement
