Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. All meals, foods and beverages are prepared and served by qualified child nutrition professionals. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

Breakfast is offered in all Liberty County Schools for no cost to ALL students. Most elementary students eat breakfast in their classroom allowing them more time to eat their whole meal and the ability to sit with peers. However, there are still a few elementary schools that use the school cafeteria for breakfast service. Secondary students eat breakfast by receiving their meals from kiosks that are available at certain locations throughout the school. These kiosks allow students to receive breakfast meals through grab and go services allowing students to eat breakfast in their classroom or other designated eating locations.

Lunch is offered in all Liberty County schools which meal prices charged are based upon Meal Benefit Eligibility. All lunches will be eaten in the school cafeteria or other designated eating locations. Students have option to select their lunch meal from a variety of offerings. All meals served meet all federal USDA regulations as part of the National School Lunch Program. In addition to lunches we have a variety of healthy a la carte snacks that meet the wellness policy guidelines for a healthy snack that are sold at select schools.

Important Information:

  • All menus may be subject to change.
  • At least two choices for breakfast and lunch meals are offered daily.
  • A la carte sales are offered at select schools to those students that either pay cash and/or have a positive lunch account balance.
