Gavin Egeland
Gavin Egeland, Nevada High School junior, has been selected for a World Food Prize Borlaug-Ruan research internship abroad. Gavin will be studying and working at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) in Nairobi, Kenya with Dr.Kelvin Shikuku, an economist in their Livestock Climate and Environment Program. This internship will take place for eight weeks during the summer of 2025.
This is very exciting to see one of our students receive this opportunity! I admire Gavin’s work ethic and academic work in this area.
