Bensalem Township School District Home

Again this summer, children can enjoy delicious NO COST breakfasts and lunches provided by the Bensalem Township School District Food Service Department. The district is sponsoring the Summer Food Service Program, a federally funded nutrition program, open to all children ages 1-18 years.

The Bensalem Education Foundation (BEF) recently awarded nine grants to schools across Bensalem Township School District, totaling $4,500. BEF is a 501(c)3 organization that relies on donations and supports the purpose of improving teaching and learning in Bensalem through innovative educational initiatives. Grants are awarded through an application process that occurs once each year in the spring. The following grant recipients were shared by BEF Co-Presidents, Bill Lewis and CJ Mills:

BTSD students attended the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science State Competition held from May 17 through May 21, 2024 at Penn State University, State College. Thousands of students from all over Pennsylvania presented their scientific research at this annual competition. These projects are a culmination of months of hard work and dedication.
