Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. All meals, foods and beverages are prepared and served by qualified child nutrition professionals. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

Community Eligibility Provision
The Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) allows Edgefield County School District to provide meals at NO COST to all enrolled students based on overall economic status.
It eliminates the need to complete lunch applications
- There is nothing for parents and guardians to do! No applications or additional information is needed.
- You can skip the lunch box! Let us help you save time and money in the new school year. Encourage your child to enjoy breakfast and lunch with us.
- You don't have to add money to your students meal account, unless they want to purchase additional entrees` or a la carte items.
