Laughter poured out of the theater classroom as Shawn Giglio and Micheal Ford performed an original scene titled “Isabella’s 18th birthday” for staff at the “Acting Up!” theater showcase May 22.
The performance was one of six put on at the showcase, where Resilience Academy Intro to Theater, Level II and Level III theater students put what they have learned in class into action.
Fourteen Resilience Academy students enjoyed a field trip to the Walkway Over the Hudson May 17.

SkillsUSA peers from across New York voted Vincent Ruffolo to a state officer position, making him the fourth Dutchess BOCES Career and Technical Institute student elected to such a position since 1984.
“Skills is an amazing organization,” shared Ruffolo, a junior in the HVAC program. “It’s helped me become the best version of myself and encourages me to keep growing.”
Three Dutchess BOCES Plant and Animal Sciences students traveled to Syracuse to present projects at the 2024 Future Farmers of America state competition, with one returning with first place in their division.
Maleah Bishop, Lucy Mann and Bryanna Coakley competed individually.

Pegasus students are painting the future of their program through a new legacy project. With the help of art teacher Michael Hollick, Pegasus students set out to create a mural that all current and future Pegasus students will have a hand in.
