Did YOU know about the breakfast initiative that Governor Josh Shapiro has launched?! It is called the Governor's School Breakfast Challenge and you can read about it here
Breakfast in the classroom at the elementary level and grab and go breakfasts at the middle school and high school levels are already in place here at Easton. The students who miss the initial grab and go breakfasts have the opportunity to get breakfast after the bell in their respective student center until 9 am. Your student has the opportunity to eat a free, nutritious meal every single day. The offering includes milk, fresh fruit, fruit juice, whole grain options, and sometimes a meat/meat alternate option. When your student eats breakfast, it has been proven to increase information retention and focus as well as to improve test scores and overall grades. We encourage all students to start their day a nutritious way!
