Wayne Central School District is Turning 75!

Wayne Central School District is Turning 75! We will commemorate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Wayne Central School District on April 29, 2024. The event will be held at the James A. Beneway High School Performing Arts Center from 6-7 p.m. The evening will include guest speakers, a performance by our high school select chorus, and a cake-cutting ceremony.
New York State Future Business Leaders of America Competition 2024

New York State Future Business Leaders of America Competition 2024 Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) held their state competition in Rochester, New York, and Wayne High School was one of many schools across the state to participate in the competitive events. This club is all about leadership, good character, hard work, and, of course, the competitions in categories specific to the world of business. Those that placed highest are now invited to compete at the FBLA National Competition in Orlando, Florida.

Wayne Central School District Hosts Successful 8th Annual Chess Tournament in Partnership with Rochester Chess Club On April 13, 2024, Wayne Central School District held its 8th annual chess tournament led by Wayne Primary Librarian Tami Adams-King with the Rochester Chess Club. The tournament welcomed over 40 enthusiastic students in grades K-8 from across Wayne and Monroe Counties, including homeschooled participants.

Wayne Central School District Students Shine in Echoes Writing Competition 6th-grade student Hudson Moore witnessed his creative work take center stage as his writing submission, Meteor The Size of a Baseball, was selected by Echoes to be featured in this year's performance for middle school students across New York State.
