Child Nutrition
The East Jasper School District Child Nutrition program provides more than 360,000 meals yearly to students and staff throughout the district. Through the acceptance of the new kitchen equipment provided by the Mississippi Department of Education Office of Child Nutrition, funded by the Bower Foundation, we will be providing The New William J. Berry Elementary School with a healthier approach to preparing foods. Since the installation of our new oven, our meals are even tastier and more visually appealing. We are confident that this approach will help support student academic success and promote healthful eating habits that will lead to lifelong, positive nutrition practices.
