Food Service Program
Good nutrition is key to student success and achievement. Kodiak Island Borough School District strives to provide nutritious, healthy, and well-balanced meals to our students every day. Our schools participate in the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, and Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program.

Summer Food Service Program (ages 1-18)

WHEN: May 28 – June 28, 2024, Monday-Friday. July 1 – August 15, 2024, Monday – Thursday. Closed on July 4, 2024.
WHERE: Kodiak High School Commons
TIMES: Breakfast 8:00-9:00 am. Lunch 11:30am – 1:00pm
Starting May 28, 2024, the Food Services Department will be offering free breakfast from 8:00-9:00 am and free lunch from 11:30 am-1:00 pm for ages 1-18.
MEALS ARE FREE for ages 1-18. Meals must be eaten on-site and only in the commons area. No registration or signup is required. No adult meals provided.
