Kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 school year is now open. All incoming students must be 5 years old before September 1, 2024. School of Choice forms are available. Please register by June 5, 2024.

Safe Routes to School Survey

Mio-AuSable Schools and Big Creek Township have applied for a Safe Routes to School Grant. The purpose of this grant is to:

To enable and encourage children, including those with disabilities to walk and bike to school;

To make bicycling and walking to school safer and a more appealing transportation alternative, thereby encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle from an early age, and;

To facilitate the planning, development, and implementation of projects and activities that will improve safety while reducing traffic, fuel consumption, and air pollution in the vicinity of schools

As part of the application process, we are required to seek input and collect data from our stakeholders. Therefore, we are asking parents/guardians to complete a brief survey. If you have children in both the elementary and secondary schools, please complete each survey.
