Please join us in congratulating the 7th/8th grade Battle of the Books team! We hosted six schools from across Warren County last week and after three hours of intense competition from Hackettstown and Warren Hills/Oxford, our team, which included Ryan Burke, Kelly McElroy, Jackson Oatley, and Mikey Pilny, placed third in the championship round. They were responsible for reading nine novels in addition to their regular coursework obligations.
Mrs. Eisner would also like to express her sincere thanks to Mrs. Morokutti, her help in preparing for the Battle, and welcoming the teams upon their arrival yesterday and to Mr. Quigley for indulging her last-minute whims for audio setup for the championship round. Congratulations!!🎉📖🎉📚

Blair Women’s Club Co-Presidents Mrs. Plut and Mrs. Kelley met with three students who are attending exciting leadership conferences this June. 10th grader Samara Gonzalez will be attending the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Conference at Drew University. 11th graders Alexis Marrero and Bianca Hyppolite will be attending the Girls Career Institute program at Rutgers University. All three students are able to attend these programs due to the generous sponsorship from the Blair Women’s Club. NWR is so appreciative of their support!

Introduction
North Warren Regional is about to engage in a whole community Strategic Plan. This plan will help our school's leaders and board members define a vision for the future and identify district goals and objectives. The process includes establishing the sequence in which those goals should be organized to reach our vision.
In summary, this multi-year plan will help us set yearly goals, or what we want for our school, and how to achieve those goals for the overall improvement of North Warren Regional.
Our strategic planning process will be based on the outcome of our Portrait of a Patriot that we completed last school year. Essentially, our Portrait was locally developed with competencies that we feel are integral for our students to succeed in the 21st century. There will be a focus on curriculum, programming, and skills our students need to succeed after NWR.
The entire strategic planning process involves the ongoing engagement of a Design Team. This team will ensure our strategic plan is informed by diverse perspectives, responsive to student needs, and inspires ownership and action. This plan will also take into account our current financial and facility challenges.
We are hoping to have representatives from parents, community members, business owners, alumni, staff, students, etc. If you are interested in participating in the process, please complete the RSVP below. Feel free to share this information with friends, family, and neighbors as well.
