Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. All meals, foods and beverages are prepared and served by qualified child nutrition professionals. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

Community Eligibility Program (CEP): Students at ALL Elementary Schools, Middle Schools, Eastern Randolph High and Uwharrie Ridge 6-12 will receive breakfast and lunch at no cost for the 2024-2025 school year. No meal benefit application is required to be completed for students at these schools. A complete list of participating schools is below.

Meal Benefits: Families of students that do not attend a CEP school will need to apply for Free/Reduced price meals in order to prevent a disruption in meal benefits. To apply, go to lunchapplication.com and follow the prompts. The online application for 2024/2025 will be available on August 1.

Payments: Payment for meals and a la carte items/extras will be accepted using cash, check or credit card when using the online pre-payment center. Go to k12paymentcenter.com to pre-pay using your credit card (additional charges apply if using a credit card).

Randolph County School Nutrition is partnered with Envision Payment Solutions for the recovery of returned checks. If your check is dishonored by the bank, a service fee will be assessed in accordance with state law.
In providing a check as payment, you authorize electronic re-presentment if your check should return
unpaid. Also, you authorize service charges and processing fees as allowed by state law to be
debited from the same account via paper draft or electronic funds transfer. Envision can be

Food Recalls: In the event of a food recall, RCSS School Nutrition Services will communicate the recall notice to all school sites and District Public Information Officer.
