Go Big Red!

Superintendent's Message

Welcome to the Plymouth-Shiloh Local Schools. As many of you know I grew up in the Plymouth-Shiloh District and graduated from PHS in 1976. I consider it an honor and a privilege to serve as the Superintendent of the Plymouth-Shiloh Local School District (PSLSD). My pledge to all of our students, parents, staff and community members is that all decisions made will be based on what is best for our students while being fiscally responsible to the citizens of our district. After serving the PSLSD the past thirty-two years as a teacher, coach, and principal I am looking forward to the challenge of my new position to do everything possible to provide each student with the best educational and co-curricular opportunities.

I want to assure our parents and community members that our staff will work their hardest to be a positive influence in our student’s lives. Delivering on the promise of excellence and opportunity for each student is a responsibility, challenge, and opportunity we will never take lightly. Everyone associated with the Plymouth-Shiloh Schools will be determined to provide excellent instruction leading to meaningful achievement and growth for each student.

The PSLSD is supported through a deep sense of community pride, traditions, and teamwork that help our schools strive for excellence. When decisions are made based on what is best for our students our successes will continue to be unlimited. Along with this website (https://plymouthshilohsd.org/) we will use social media Plymouth Shiloh Facebook Page and Plymouth Shiloh Twitter Page for communication. I encourage you to check these sites frequently.

If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions or if I can be of any assistance to you please contact me by email or phone.

Sincerely,

Athletic News!Big Red Recap:The Big Red baseball team traveled to Lucas on Thursday night and opened up postseason play in the sectional finals against the Cubs. The Big Red and Cubs found themselves locked into a pitchers dual through 5 innings with the Big Red clinging to a 1-0 lead after manufacturing a run early in the game. Jarrett Burrer was dominant on the mound for the Big Red but his biggest impact of the game came on the other side of the ball with the bat in his hand. He came to the plate in the top of the 6th with runners on 1st and 2nd searching for a hit that would give the Big Red some breathing room and he found more than that as he blasted a 3 run HR to make the score 4-0. The Big Red would add one more in the 6th to make it 5-0 before they blew it wide open in the top of the 7th adding 6 more making it 11-0. Burrer would finish out the complete game shutout on the mound to secure a great win for the Big Red. They improve to 10-13 overall and advance to next week's district tournament in Galion where they will take on South Central in the semifinals on Wednesday at 5pm. They will be back in action tonight finishing out the regular season against Monroeville at home. ... See MoreSee Less
