Food Services

We recognize that nutrition impacts classroom performance, so we have designed our menus and food preparation to provide excellent nutrition and teach health wellness. We prepare our lunch menus to provide both appeal and proper nutrition to our students. The variety of our menus ensure that our students get all of the necessary nutrients and other substances associated with good health, clear thinking, and a balanced diet. We teach the importance of nutritious meals while encouraging good eating habits. We also encourage parents to help their children to eat healthy, nutritious foods both at school and at home.

NUTRITIONAL EXCELLENCE

All of our school campuses participate in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and the Breakfast Program. Both programs are a federally assisted meal program that provides nutritionally balanced, free meals to all students. The food and beverages we sell or serve on our campuses meet the state and federal requirements, which are based on the USDA dietary guidelines.

BREAKFAST

Did you know that breakfast increases your child’s brain power? Our bodies convert breakfast food into energy for use by our brain. When children skip breakfast, they must rely on the energy from their last meal to fuel their brain. Without breakfast, kids typically have a gap of twelve hours or more between dinner and lunch. This can make kids tired and restless.

Our school breakfast ensures your child starts the school day well-nourished and ready to learn. We ensure each child receives all the ingredients needed to fuel their brain for optimal learning.
