Student Nutrition
At Rio Rancho Public Schools, ensuring our students do not face food instability is important. We want each student to come to school with a full belly and a mind ready to learn. Our district schools meet or exceed local, state, and federal nutrition requirements and/or USDA nutrition standards. If applicable, this includes At-Risk Afterschool Meals, Afterschool Snack Programs, Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Programs, and/or Summer Food Service Programs.
Resources
Starting in January 2024 All RRPS will participate in Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the National School Lunch Program. All schools and all students will continue to eat 1 breakfast and 1 Lunch at no charge.
