General Comments: We had a great track meet again this year in Dyer. The whole district showed up with almost as many parents as we had students! We are so grateful for all the community support and special thanks to all the staff members who showed up, and worked hard. The 8th grade trip was a big success with many happy students returning tired but happy. There is a lot going on this month. Check the dates above for the events happening in your community.

PLC/Safety Committee: The focus this month was school/student safety through better mental health and greater awareness on the part of all staff members about at-risk behaviors. We have also found a suitable vape detection system that will be installed this summer in our schools.

District Facilities and Bus Update: EsCSD has purchased 2019 buses for Dyer School. They are beautiful, new looking, and a big improvement on our older buses. Goldfield is next up with a bus purchase planned for this summer.

Superintendent: This has been an amazing year of progress, hard work, and success. Students and teachers have done an outstanding job and deserve this summer break! See the calendar dates above for the summer school scheduled in your area and remember, a book a week is a great way to spend your summer!
