EVERY Student …  EVERY Day!

March 31, 2025

Hello LPOSD Families,

As we head into spring break, I hope you have the chance to enjoy some quality time with your children. It’s a wonderful opportunity to unplug, have fun together, and soak up some sunshine in our beautiful community!

A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who participated in our recent student-led conferences. It was inspiring to watch our students take ownership of their learning, proudly sharing their accomplishments, areas where they’re working to improve, and the things they love most about school. Seeing them articulate both their strengths and challenges was a powerful reminder of the growth mindset we’re fostering. I’m confident our teachers will continue to provide the support and encouragement our students need to succeed every day.

This year’s Student Safety Summit also provided valuable insights for parents concerned about the impact of social media and cell phone usage. I want to express my gratitude to everyone who joined us to learn about these critical issues and to our local experts, educators, and volunteers who generously shared their knowledge to help us support our children and families. Together, we’re making a difference in protecting and guiding our students in today’s digital world.

Much Gratitude for your partnership, bwm

Dr. Becky Meyer, Superintendent
