It Is Our Vision
That the School Nutrition Program of Augusta County Public Schools shall provide students the opportunity to enjoy nutritionally balanced, affordable, and delicious school meals that promote learning readiness and healthy eating behaviors.
Mission Statement
To complement and support the education environment through providing students with dining experiences that will provide a social break to the school day in a friendly atmosphere with timely service of healthy choices and a variety of foods prepared and served in a safe manner.
Children Must Eat to Learn and Learn to Eat
The School Nutrition Program (SNP) is an important part of the total education program. It serves to safeguard the health and well-being of children by providing nutritious kid-friendly meals each school day at prices families can afford. The program is designed to give students healthy choices and a better understanding of good nutrition for a lifetime of healthy eating habits.
School Nutrition and learning go hand in hand. Studies have found that school meals, particularly school breakfast, can improve students' brain function and their ability to do well in school.

Summer P-EBT benefits will be issued as a one-time, lump sum benefit of $375 on August 25, 2021 to all children who qualified for free or reduced-price meals during the 2020-2021 school year. Learn more.
