Food & Nutrition Services Update
As school foodservice programs are making preparations to return to normal service and menus, we are facing unprecedented issues with the supply chain that will cause us to alter our posted menus with little or no notice. We are working closely with our distributors and manufacturers to secure both the food and supply items needed to support our program.
While it is our intention to serve the posted menu each day at every school, supply issues will not make this possible throughout the school year until the supply chain issues are rectified. We will always attempt to substitute the scheduled menu item with another that is as similar as possible to the extent we are able to do so.
Please know that we will always provide wholesome meals each and every day.
Help Yourself Table
Food & Nutrition Program regulations require schools to provide reimbursable meals that meet specific meal pattern requirements. However, we recognize that, for various reasons, children may not always want to consume certain food or beverage items included in their meal. The “Help Yourself Tables” are stations where children may return allowable food or beverage items they choose not to consume. These food and beverage items are then available to other children who may want additional servings. Please click here for more information on guidelines and food allergies.
For School Year 2023-2024, the following sites will participate in the Community Eligibility Provision:
Indiantown Middle School
Indiantown High School
JD Parker Elementary School
Port Salerno Elementary School
Pinewood Elementary School
Spectrum Academy
Warfield Elementary School
Willoughby Learning Center
All students at these CEP sites will receive FREE breakfast and lunch without having to submit a meal application.
