This year's seniors in Mrs. Boldra's Spanish 4 class were able to go back to where most of them started their school career. They spent time planning and creating a mini-lesson in Spanish for the elementary students. This was a great way for the seniors to end their last day of high school, and a great opportunity for the younger students to see the older ones involved in creating something specifically for them. A very special day for both the seniors and the elementary students!
Check out the picture slideshow to see their smiling faces during this project.
Treynor Elementary Fifth Grade students took part in the annual Arbor Day project coordinated by the Optimist Club. They had a top-ten weather day to plant some trees and add mulch to areas around the high school football field. The students were assisted by some Junior Optimist members as well.
Click on the picture slideshow to the right for more pictures from the day.
Congratulations to the boys' golf team for their performance at districts on Monday, May 13, 2024 at Panorama Golf Course in Panora, Iowa. The team will advance to state golf which will be held at Coldwater Links in Ames on May 20th and 21st.
