	WHS Expansion Information 5/17/2024 The future is exciting as our community and schools grow. Whitefish School District’s enrollment continues to increase at an average rate of 2% per year. Our students are demonstrating growth in academic achievement and success in the arts and athletics. Together, we are supporting our students' success today and as we prepare them for the future.
	Thank You from Superintendent Means 5/10/2024 On behalf of the Whitefish School District, I want to thank the Whitefish community for voting in the May 7 levy election. The voters supported our general fund operating levy request, with nearly 60% approval.
	Preliminary May 7 Election Results Preliminary election results are in. The levy passed with 59.8% of voters in favor. The official canvass will take place Tuesday, May 14th at the board meeting. Levy amount: $108,337 Votes For: 2,465 Votes Against: 1,624 Thank you to all of you who cast your ballots in person or by mail.
	Whitefish High School Ranked #2 in Montana by U.S. News Whitefish High School has earned the number two spot in Montana in “2024 Best High Schools,” which U.S. News released in a new report.
	New Elementary Reading Curriculum New elementary reading curriculum materials are being considered for the general education classrooms. Materials are available for review at the Whitefish School District Office through May 24.
